Video Production Manager

Location: Onsite in Memphis, Tennessee, United States. Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; weekend availability and travel for events are required. Travel is approximately 30–40% and may include overnight stays.

Salary: $85,000 per year

What you will do

• Support video production projects from concept through completion, including writing, producing, shooting, editing workflows, and final delivery.
• Support ESPN and ION show execution through pre-production planning, onsite coordination, vendor coordination, and broadcast logistics.
• Coordinate freelance crews for competitions, camps, and special events, including travel, hotels, schedules, and pre-event video lists.
• Produce social-first content and marketing videos for camps, competitions, and apparel campaigns.
• Organize production assets, maintain archive standards, and coordinate equipment transport and basic maintenance.
• Track budgets and costs under the direction of the Senior Director of Video Production while maintaining production documentation and project schedules.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of video production experience, ideally in live television broadcasting or live production environments.
• Experience supporting sports, entertainment, or live event productions.
• Strong organizational, project management, communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communication, English, or a related field.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events and lift, bend, push, pull, and handle equipment weighing at least 50 pounds.
