Compensation Manager, Business Partnerships & Technology

Location: US Remote

Salary: $134,500–$201,700 USD for Zone 1 (CA, CT, DC, MD, MA, NJ, NY, VA, WA); $125,700–$188,500 USD for Zone 2 (all other US locations). Additional compensation includes an annual bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Serve as a compensation resource for Talent Acquisition, Finance, HR Business Partners, People Business Partners, HR Operations, and Talent Acquisition Operations.
• Handle offers, role pricing, compensation requests, data audits, and system integrity checks during the initial research and discovery phase.
• Own the compensation tooling and self-service infrastructure roadmap for internal partner teams.
• Partner with People Technology and People Insights and Analytics to build offer calculators, pricing tools, and reusable HR resources.
• Manage cross-functional intake and triage, route requests, close the loop with partners, and identify opportunities for systematization.
• Measure success by partner self-sufficiency and the reduction of recurring compensation questions.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of compensation experience, including meaningful business-facing or partner-facing work at a high-growth or public technology company.
• Demonstrated product mindset through tools, workflows, or systems that were identified, built, and measured.
• Strong compensation expertise covering offers, benchmarking, off-cycle requests, and partner consultation.
• Active use of AI tools, with examples of workflows built or accelerated.
• Experience with data audits, compensation analysis, financial modeling, budget data, and Finance partnership.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills and Workday experience, including approval workflow configuration.
