Senior Engineer, Reliability (Observability)

Salary: $101,558–$169,229 per year

What you will do

• Provide operational and release support for technology initiatives and maintain production stability during platform upgrades and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot complex application and platform incidents, lead escalation support, and contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Conduct health checks, configuration reviews, performance assessments, and proactive reliability improvements.
• Validate vendor releases, hotfixes, and configuration changes before production deployment.
• Collaborate with SRE, Platform Engineering, DevOps, Quality Engineering, Operations, and Incident Management teams to improve CI/CD and release practices.
• Maintain runbooks, incident playbooks, configuration records, release procedures, and lessons-learned documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in SRE, platform engineering, production support, enterprise application operations, or related technology environments.
• 5+ years supporting enterprise platforms including AWS, Dynatrace, ELK, ServiceNow, and SolarWinds.
• Experience troubleshooting complex production incidents in enterprise-scale technology environments.
• Experience executing technology changes through formal change management and release management processes.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services or another regulated industry.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and deployment across development, testing, and production environments.
• Experience with observability platforms, monitoring tools, performance dashboards, or application monitoring solutions.
• Experience collaborating with offshore, nearshore, or global delivery teams.
