Site Reliability Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote within eligible US locations; night shift from 10 pm–6 AM MST, Monday–Thursday, with coverage of some weekends, holidays, and other shifts as needed.

Salary: $106,029–$118,503 base hourly range, plus eligibility for bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.

What you will do

• Provide frontline technical support for complex cloud infrastructure, databases, and network systems.
• Analyze monitoring data, patterns, outliers, and anomalies to maintain high availability.
• Coordinate incident bridges with on-call teams and executives during outages.
• Partner with development teams to reduce issue detection and resolution times.
• Build automation, operational tooling, and AI agentic workflow context to reduce manual effort.
• Document incidents, research technical solutions, and author operational procedures.

Requirements

• 4+ years in a high-availability enterprise production environment and managing or monitoring AWS technologies.
• 2+ years in an enterprise NOC or command-center environment.
• 2+ years developing AI agentic workflows, with knowledge of prompt engineering, context management, and AI SDLC practices.
• 4+ years of scripting, automation, and software development using languages such as Python, Java, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, virtualization, firewalls, load balancers, intrusion detection systems, proxy servers, and relational or NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Harness, Chef, or Puppet.

Nice to have

• Experience with New Relic or AWS Application Signals.
• Experience with MSSQL, MySQL, Cassandra, or CouchDB.
