What you will do

• Create, maintain, and improve resiliency guidelines that translate reliability principles into measurable engineering practices.
• Define reference architectures, architectural guardrails, and maturity models for resilient, observable, and operable systems.
• Support incident response and root cause analysis by identifying systemic failure modes and guiding preventive measures.
• Build infrastructure configuration, application lifecycle, Infrastructure as Code, deployment, monitoring, and observability automation.
• Validate architectural decisions through targeted implementation, focused coding, automation, and collaboration with engineers.
• Grow an SRE community of practice and align reliability standards with product, development, operations, and business goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, with 5+ years in site reliability, systems engineering, or infrastructure engineering.
• Experience designing and evolving reliable, scalable architectures using availability, resiliency, and fault-tolerance patterns.
• Experience across cloud and on-premises environments, distributed systems, networking, and modern application architectures.
• Hands-on experience with observability, including metrics, logging, tracing, dashboards, and alerting.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, such as Python, C#, or Java.
• Proficiency in at least one IaC or configuration management technology, plus CI/CD-based infrastructure and application deployment automation.
