What you will do

• Write, order, and approve news stories and scripts.
• Balance news and feature content to create compelling broadcasts.
• Edit video and publish content to websites and other eMedia platforms.
• Interact with viewers and users through social media.
• Time news programs and manage multiple assignments under deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or a related field, or equivalent education and work experience.
• Fluency in English required.
• At least two years of experience in news operations, depending on market size.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers and standard office equipment.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, handle multiple tasks, and work any shift.
