Entry Level Associate Bioassay Scientist

Location: Columbia, Missouri, USA; candidates must live within a commutable distance

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with overtime as needed

What you will do

• Perform day-to-day laboratory activities using prescribed protocols, standard operating procedures, and analytical methods.
• Conduct research and development studies under CGMP and/or GLP guidelines.
• Assist with conducting, monitoring, and reporting studies.
• Perform analytical work using laboratory techniques and instruments.
• Prepare documentation and support accurate data and high-quality reports.
• Develop increasing independence while collaborating with colleagues on studies and assignments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field.
• Laboratory experience or familiarity with a laboratory setting.
• Interest in cell, molecular, and immune assays, including cell-based assays, ELISAs, electrophoresis, Western blotting, and PCR.
• Strong organization, communication, teamwork, and ability to follow directions.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship is required.
