Associate Scientist (Pharmaceutical Analysis)

Location: Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA. Candidates must live within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA. The position is onsite, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with overtime as needed.

What you will do

• Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished pharmaceutical products.
• Independently operate chromatographic and other laboratory instrumentation.
• Prepare samples and standards and perform analyses with minimal supervision.
• Set up and validate new analytical processes and execute method transfer protocols.
• Document laboratory work in compliance with GMP requirements.
• Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related discipline, or equivalent directly related experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Strong computer, scientific, organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, learn new techniques, manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and follow instructions.
