Mental Health Coordinator II / Lead Mental Health Specialist

What you will do

• Coordinate finances, activities, program services, behavioral supports, family involvement, education, healthcare, nutrition, and household management.
• Support supervisors with consistent programming, individual care, and communication across staff and support teams.
• Create and manage staff schedules and provide leadership within a residential setting.
• Implement behavior support plans, treatment plans, functional assessments, individualized support plans, and person-centered plans.
• Provide direct care, de-escalation, crisis intervention, and positive support during direct-care shifts.
• Travel to and support programs within an assigned region as directed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
• At least three years of experience delivering behavioral health services.
• At least one year of lead staff experience in residential services, a related two-year degree, or demonstrated peer leadership in behavioral services.
• Experience supporting individuals with significant mental health symptoms, aggression, property destruction, chemical dependence, brain injury, or cognitive impairments.
• Clear English reading, writing, and speaking skills are required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain physically active for extended periods is also required.
