Quality Engineer

Location: Groveland, Florida, United States; onsite at the Groveland Plant

Salary: $65,000–$90,000 base annually, negotiable based on experience, plus an additional monthly productivity and profit bonus.

What you will do

• Maintain total product quality across procured parts, in-house parts, assembly, functional testing, and finished-product packaging.
• Spend approximately 95% of the workday on the manufacturing floor auditing processes and products and implementing quality solutions.
• Review internal and external quality data to identify product, process, efficiency, and reliability improvements.
• Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures with the Quality Manager.
• Organize audit findings, initiate corrective actions, and improve manufacturing instructions, methods, and processes.
• Manage the quality management system for third-party audit organizations and support plant personnel with quality-related questions.

Requirements

• 0–10 years of experience.
• Four-year technical degree in an electrical, electronics, or mechanically oriented curriculum.
• Electrical skills and experience.
• AutoCAD or similar software experience.
• Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
