Senior Project Controls Specialist (Renewable Energy)

Location: Charlottesville, VA, USA. Primarily traditional office hours in an indoor office environment; flexible hours may be available when business operations permit.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain priority project schedules from development through execution.
• Train and support project managers in scheduling processes and controls.
• Analyze schedules against established baselines and provide critical feedback.
• Perform monthly and ad hoc cost-to-complete analyses with project managers.
• Coordinate project updates and information gathering across engineering, construction, development, finance, legal, and operations.
• Build, train, and implement Procore and project controls processes and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive scheduling and project controls experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in renewable energy scheduling and/or cost control, including wind, solar, and BESS equipment.
• Experience analyzing contractor schedules and transitioning schedules across project stages.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Project and working knowledge of Primavera P6.

• Knowledge of Procore and its financial module.
• Experience with Smartsheet.
