Catering Concierge Specialist

Location: Chicago, IL; San Francisco, CA; New York, NY; or Los Angeles, CA, United States. The role may require onsite visits to restaurants or customer locations.

Salary: $21.20–$31.20 USD per hour, localized according to employee work location.

What you will do

• Own customer relationships from intake through delivery and post-delivery follow-up.
• Recommend restaurants and create custom menus based on event details, headcount, budget, dietary needs, and occasion.
• Coordinate large and complex orders with restaurants, Dashers, customers, and support specialists.
• Communicate by phone, email, chat, forms, and Slack to resolve order issues and ensure timely delivery.
• Record customer and order information in internal systems such as Salesforce to support continuity and expansion tracking.
• Create Concierge SOPs, support operational pilots, and improve processes as the service scales.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in customer support, hospitality, account management, program management, or a related client-facing role.
• Strong service mindset with the ability to anticipate customer needs and maintain attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize across multiple customers and complex orders.
• Ability to adapt quickly, solve unexpected restaurant or order issues, and work comfortably with ambiguity.
• Ability to work from one of the listed United States locations and attend onsite restaurant or customer visits when needed.
• Comfort using AI tools for research, drafting, and streamlining repetitive work.
