Physician Scheduler (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Develop and manage radiologist and staff schedules to ensure coverage across sites, departments, reading rooms, and procedures.
• Maintain scheduling systems, templates, vacation calendars, on-call rotations, and program updates.
• Apply scheduling policies and support fair, consistent coverage planning.
• Communicate schedule updates, staffing changes, training sessions, and coverage adjustments.
• Monitor operational performance and staffing needs in real time, prepare attendance reports, and collaborate with supervisors on service-level challenges.

Requirements

• Strong professional and collaborative communication skills with radiologists, staff, and hospital personnel.
• Composure, sound judgment, organization, multitasking, teamwork, and customer-service skills in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, internet, and presentation software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in a healthcare-related field preferred.
