Associate Digital Platform Producer (MS NOW Digital)

Location: Must be willing to work in Washington, D.C. or New York, NY. Weekend afternoon and evening shift on either Wed–Sun or Fri–Tues. Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required.

Salary: $75,000–$80,000 per year

What you will do

• Create and curate content for MS NOW across linear, digital, streaming, direct-to-consumer, homepage, app, and social platforms.
• Write accurate, engaging headlines and package stories for audience engagement.
• Collaborate with show producers on video editorial content.
• Distribute content through Apple News, SmartNews, Flipboard, and other partner platforms.
• Assist with editing video and text content for owned and social platforms.
• Run A/B tests and monitor analytics to inform programming decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least three years of production or editorial experience.
• Knowledge of current events, U.S. politics, geopolitics, foreign policy, and history.
• Strong journalistic judgment, organization, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet multiple daily deadlines.
• Willingness to work in Washington, D.C. or New York, NY and unrestricted U.S. work authorization.

Nice to have

• Experience in social media editorial or publishing across different platforms.
• Experience editing video for social platforms.
