Producer, Fast Money - CNBC

Location: Onsite at CNBC headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey; in-office 5 days per week. Must have unrestricted work authorization in the United States. Free shuttle transportation is available from multiple locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Hoboken, and Jersey City.

Salary: $90,000–$115,000 per year

What you will do

• Help shape the daily editorial vision of Fast Money by suggesting stories and guests.
• Write and produce television segments covering major financial news.
• Collaborate with the executive producer, senior producer, anchors, the desk, and other departments on stories, bookings, logistics, and execution.
• Participate in the show planning process and manage live broadcast production from the control room.
• Contribute to weekly television and digital production for ETF Edge.
• Support social media initiatives with the executive and senior producers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 6 years of editorial experience in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and prior experience at a financial news network.
• Experience working with anchors and senior management across shows and departments.
• Strong writing, research, time management, and journalistic judgment skills.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States and availability to work onsite 5 days per week.
