Applications Engineer and Senior Applications Engineer (Healthcare Applications)

What you will do

• Configure, integrate, test, implement, and support application solutions across multiple systems and workflows.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions aligned with product backlogs and organizational priorities.
• Troubleshoot application and interface issues, coordinating with technical teams, vendors, clinicians, and business stakeholders.
• Analyze application workflows, operational data, and system performance to identify optimization opportunities.
• Support system upgrades, new application onboarding, process transformation, documentation, and operational support.
• For the senior role, lead complex integration and testing efforts and mentor other engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Applications Engineer: 5–7 years of relevant experience; Senior Applications Engineer: 7+ years.
• Experience with application configuration, system workflows, integrations, interfaces, data flows, testing, implementations, or upgrades.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Senior applicants need experience with complex application and integration issues, testing coordination, IT service management, and peer mentoring.
• Ability to work across multiple systems and functional domains in a healthcare environment.

Nice to have

• PowerShell, Python, Bash, JavaScript, SQL, APIs, web services, middleware, or workflow automation.
• Experience with Power Automate, UiPath, cloud or SaaS platforms, DevOps, version control, CI/CD, monitoring, or logging tools.
• Agile or product-oriented delivery experience and healthcare or enterprise workflow knowledge.
