Quality Inspector (Electrical)

hirify.global provides custom-engineered industrial refrigeration and process cooling systems using natural refrigerants such as ammonia and CO₂.

What you will do

• Inspect electrical components, wiring, and assemblies against specifications, engineering drawings, applicable standards, and customer requirements.
• Perform continuity, insulation resistance, voltage, and tolerance checks using multimeters, ammeters, insulation testers, and related instruments.
• Identify and document defects, non-conformities, corrective actions, and inspection results.
• Collaborate with electricians, engineers, and supervisors to resolve quality concerns and support root cause analysis.
• Maintain inspection records and component traceability during active manufacturing stages.
• Follow electrical procedures and workplace safety protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in electrical inspection, electrical work, or quality assurance in manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and ANSI/IEC symbols.
• Experience using electrical testing and inspection tools, including multimeters and insulation testers.
• Ability to document and communicate inspection outcomes clearly, with basic computer literacy for data entry and reporting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally, stand for extended periods, work at heights and in confined spaces, and tolerate heat, cold, dust, and noise.

Nice to have

• Technical certifications in electrical work or quality control.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or equivalent quality management systems.
• Prior electrician experience or commercial or industrial experience.
