Quality Control Supervisor (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Supervise and lead quality control technicians throughout the production process.
• Develop and implement quality control protocols for raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.
• Perform audits and inspections of equipment, materials, and finished goods.
• Maintain quality records, calibration documentation, inspection results, and corrective-action reports.
• Analyze production and quality data, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process, material, and equipment improvements.
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams on quality concerns, product development, and new standards.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in quality control or manufacturing, preferably in plastics extrusion or a similar industry.
• Experience managing and leading teams.
• Knowledge of quality control methodologies, inspection techniques, ISO 9001, ASTM, and related standards.
• Experience using calipers, tape measures, spectrometers, and other testing equipment.
• Strong analytical, communication, leadership, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English, work varied shifts, pass a drug test, and work in Selma, Alabama.

Nice to have

• Experience with quality management software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
