Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

Location: Gurugram, India; the role requires flexibility to work in shifts and collaboration with teams in Delhi and the UK.

What you will do

• Act as a finance business partner for Business Insights business units.
• Prepare month-end flash reports, variance analyses, management adjustment journals, and financial reports.
• Manage monthly results, forecasts, internal and external charges, trading processes, and accounting close activities.
• Perform deep-dive analysis, identify root causes, and recommend solutions for financial performance issues.
• Maintain data integrity, supporting documentation, and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley standards.
• Identify reporting and process-improvement opportunities and share best practices across teams.

Requirements

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Commerce, or a professional finance qualification such as CA, CS, CWA, or MBA.
• Preferably 3+ years of relevant experience in an MNC or captive unit, including financial results, month-end flash reporting, management reporting, or contract accounting.
• Strong communication, articulation, interpersonal, and independent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work accurately within tight deadlines and identify improvement opportunities.
• Flexibility to work in shifts and collaborate with onshore senior finance teams.
