Network Configuration Specialist

Location: Whiteley, Southampton, United Kingdom; hybrid working with three days per week at the contractual location and two flexible days.

Salary: Competitive salary, plus a 10% on-target bonus and on-call allowance.

What you will do

• Design, configure, test, and troubleshoot customer networks.
• Translate customer requirements into working configurations, diagrams, and technical instructions.
• Act as a technical escalation point for complex network issues.
• Provide remote support to onsite engineers during solution deployment.
• Support efficient ways of working and cost-reduction initiatives.

Requirements

• Existing or attainable Government Security Clearance and NPPV3 clearance.
• Network design, configuration, implementation, and customer deployment troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with network vendors including Cisco, Fortinet, Draytek, Meraki, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Aruba.
• Proactive commitment to continual learning and development.

Nice to have

• Cisco CCNP or other vendor accreditations.
• Demonstrated testing and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience taking ownership of project work packages.
