TL;DR
Manager, Specialty Compliance and Ethics - IF– Level II Testing & Monitoring (Compliance/Retail): Leading risk-based compliance reviews, FCPA monitoring, and third-party intermediary audits with an accent on data analysis, stakeholder influence, and remediation planning. Focus on identifying root causes, strengthening controls, and driving timely closure of corrective action plans.

Location: Onsite in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Travel within Canada and the U.S. 1–2 times per year may be required.

Salary: CAD 91,900–126,390 per year, based on relevant experience.

What you will do

  • Lead risk-based compliance reviews under the Global Level II Testing & Monitoring framework.
  • Monitor compliance with the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and Canadian anti-corruption laws.
  • Execute Third-Party Intermediary audits of service providers.
  • Collect and analyze data and documentation, maintaining complete workpapers and evidence in the global compliance system.
  • Prepare assessment reports, communicate findings, and align stakeholders on remediation priorities.
  • Identify root causes, develop sustainable corrective actions, track action plans, and verify remediation closure.

Requirements

  • CPA, CIA, or CFE certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of audit, compliance, or internal controls experience.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong project management, analytical, critical-thinking, communication, leadership, and stakeholder-influence skills.
  • Ability to identify risks and anomalies, determine root causes, work with large amounts of data, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge.
  • Retail experience.
  • Experience with ERP software, particularly SAP.
  • Knowledge of the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and Canadian anti-corruption laws.
