Co-Op - Transmission Engineering Services - (Spring 2027)

What you will do

• Design high-voltage transmission line facilities supporting system improvements, reliability projects, and system load growth.
• Participate in field visits to verify topography, identify obstacles, and gather design feedback from construction crews.
• Update discrepancies across engineering prints, schematics, databases, and system models.
• Collaborate with substation engineering, protection and control engineering, operations, construction, planning, and project management teams.
• Complete additional engineering assignments as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a four-year degree in mechanical, civil, or electrical engineering.
• Sophomore standing or higher is preferred.
• Strong academic performance, attention to detail, organization, and team collaboration skills.
• Experience with design software such as PLS-CADD or SolidWorks is preferred.
• Microsoft Office experience, especially Excel, is preferred.
