Co-Op - Substation Engineer - Engineering Services (Fall 2027)

What you will do

• Support staff engineers in designing 12kV through 345kV electrical substations.
• Help develop physical layouts, one-line diagrams, protection and control schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Assist in preparing detailed engineering design packages in accordance with hirify.global Ohio and relevant industry standards.
• Complete additional engineering assignments as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Be pursuing a four-year degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
• Be at least a sophomore-level student; strong academic performance is preferred.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is preferred.
• Work onsite in Dayton, Ohio, United States.
