Co-Op- Substation Engineer - Engineering Services (Fall 2027)

What you will do

• Support staff engineers with the design of 12kV through 345kV electrical substations.
• Assist with physical layouts, one-line diagrams, protection and control schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Produce detailed engineering design packages in accordance with hirify.global Ohio and relevant industry standards.
• Complete additional engineering assignments under supervisor direction.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a four-year degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
• Sophomore standing or higher is preferred.
• Strong academic performance, attention to detail, and organizational skills are valued.
• Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is preferred.
• Position based in Dayton, Ohio, United States.
