What you will do

• Support staff engineers on the AES Ohio Relay/Protection and Control Engineering team.
• Perform electrical calculations, coordination studies, and short circuit studies.
• Design relay logic and develop protective relaying settings for transmission and distribution systems.
• Prepare detailed engineering documentation in accordance with AES Ohio and relevant industry standards.
• Complete additional engineering assignments determined by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a four-year degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Sophomore standing or higher is preferred.
• Strong academic performance, attention to detail, and organizational skills are valued.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is preferred.
• Work is based in Dayton, Ohio.
