What you will do

  • Support the design and planning of future-state transmission and distribution power systems.
  • Gather, store, and use electrical asset data; create and maintain models with PSSE and CYME.
  • Prepare scopes of work, cost estimates, schedules, project business cases, and financial models.
  • Validate annual budget data and manage budgets for assigned transmission and distribution investment programs.
  • Apply Management of Change and Asset Governance processes, support root cause analyses, and update Asset Life Cycle Plans.
  • Attend substation and engineering site visits, collaborate with technical and business stakeholders, and propose solutions to grid problems.

Requirements

  • Interest in electric infrastructure, transmission and distribution systems, and the responsible energy transition.
  • Ability to develop technical and analytical solutions for electrical asset and grid data.
  • Ability to collaborate with engineers, technicians, regulatory experts, finance professionals, and other disciplines.
  • Availability to attend field visits at substations and other engineering sites in the Dayton area.
  • Ability to work full time in the United States and complete applicable employment authorization verification.
