IT Systems Engineer (AI)

Location: United States; the role may require up to 10% travel for onboarding, partner or client work, team meetings, and industry events.

What you will do

• Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise identity, endpoint management, and SaaS systems.
• Deliver SSO/SCIM implementations, multi-tool integrations, and workflow automations.
• Own projects and tickets from problem definition through rollout, documentation, and follow-up.
• Manage secure configurations, least-privilege access, runbooks, and knowledge-base documentation.
• Use ticket data, system telemetry, and adoption metrics to measure the impact of delivered solutions.
• Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation for site-specific or business-blocking issues.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in IT support, systems administration, or systems engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Working familiarity with Google Workspace, Jamf, Slack, Atlassian, and Zoom administration.
• Experience managing macOS and iOS devices through an MDM, including configuration profiles and policies; Jamf is preferred.
• Foundational knowledge of enterprise device management, secure identity, endpoint security, identity lifecycle management, SSO, and SCIM.
• Foundational scripting skills and the ability to work with REST APIs and JSON; Bash, PowerShell, or Python experience is beneficial.
• Comfort using LLM assistants for research, scripting, documentation, and troubleshooting, while validating outputs with independent judgment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workato, Okta Workflows, n8n, Okta, Entra ID, or similar identity and automation tools.
• Knowledge of enterprise networking, AWS or GCP, ITSM platforms, or relevant technical certifications.
• Experience building API-connected AI workflows, agents, or tools that save time.
