Senior Business Intelligence Developer - Power BI

What you will do

• Lead Business Intelligence projects from initiation through implementation.
• Develop and maintain complex data models using structured and unstructured data.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to optimize data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Integrate BI tools with business systems and recommend infrastructure improvements.
• Translate analytical findings into actionable business strategies and support cross-functional decisions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor less experienced BI professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant Business Intelligence Developer experience.
• Proficiency in SQL, including joins, aggregations, indexes, views, and nested queries.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Power Query transformations, DAX measures, star schema modeling, and business visualizations.
• Experience using AI copilots to author and review code and Git to version-control Power BI code.
• Strong analytical thinking, data preparation, data quality management, data privacy, data mining, predictive analytics, and data visualization skills.
