Grad Intern – Data Engineer (Data Engineering)

Location: United States — Remote. Students must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship and authorized to work in the U.S.

Salary: $35.34–$41.20 per hour

What you will do

• Design and develop end-to-end data pipelines that extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources and formats into an enterprise data lake.
• Collaborate with lead architects, business subject-matter experts, data scientists, product owners, and functional teams.
• Build data infrastructure and analytics tools using Python, SQL, and AWS.
• Identify opportunities to automate tasks and develop reusable frameworks.
• Design, build, and develop rapid proof-of-concept solutions and services.

Requirements

• Must be located in the United States throughout the internship.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of the program.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have graduated with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must be enrolled in the first year of an accredited master’s, MBA, PharmD, or Ph.D. program before the internship begins and remain enrolled afterward.
• Must be available for a full-time schedule and able to accept potential full-time employment by July 2028 if offered.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, interpersonal, project management, and independent working skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s concentration in information technology, computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.
• At least one year of relevant work experience.
• Biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, or SQL.
• Coursework in software development, database modeling, cloud applications, Agile or Scrum, SDLC processes, or enterprise systems.
