Scheduling Analyst

Location: Corpus Christi, Texas, United States. The position is campus-based, with remote work possible when requested by the university during inclement weather or other special circumstances.

Salary: Up to $5,000 per month (approximately $60,000 annually).

What you will do

• Develop student-centered academic course schedules using predictive and historical data and coordinate revisions with colleges and departments.
• Manage course schedule and classroom request workflows, including data entry, validation, edits, and room assignments.
• Integrate and validate scheduling data across scheduling software and student information systems in collaboration with IT.
• Analyze course scheduling and classroom utilization data, conduct audits, and recommend process improvements.
• Prepare course listings, schedule communications, compliance reports, and schedule verification materials.
• Provide technical support, training, presentations, and guidance on scheduling software, forms, and administrative processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Two years of related experience; a related master’s degree may substitute for the experience requirement.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work outside regular business hours and on weekends when required for commencement and university programs.
• Ability to work on campus in Corpus Christi and remotely only when requested by the university for inclement weather or special circumstances.

Nice to have

• Experience with academic scheduling, records, or higher education administration.
• Experience with Banner Student Information System, Ad Astra, or similar scheduling and analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of university scheduling or records procedures and FERPA requirements.
• Customer service experience in higher education.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communication or Business.
