Analyst Charge - Revenue Integrity (Remote)

Location: Remote position associated with Livonia, Michigan, United States; rotational weekend coverage required every 6 weeks.

Salary: $21.9481–$32.9222 per hour.

What you will do

• Research, collect, analyze, and report operational and revenue integrity data.
• Review charge capture, charge entry, charge approvals, and charge reconciliation processes.
• Ensure accurate CPT and ICD-10 documentation and identify missing, duplicate, late, or incorrect charges.
• Analyze clinical documentation and denial-related charge issues, including root causes and process impacts.
• Prepare reports, graphical summaries, reference logs, and educational materials for stakeholders.
• Educate colleagues, providers, and clinical departments on accurate documentation and charging practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in a hospital or physician practice environment.
• Experience in revenue cycle, billing, coding, patient financial services, or charge control and capture.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, data entry, supply chain processes, healthcare operations, and billing and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, support process improvements, and collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders.
• Ability to work remotely and cover a rotational weekend shift every 6 weeks.

Nice to have

• RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, COC, AAPC, CHC, or CHRI certification or membership.
• Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse licensure.
• Charge control or capture experience.
