Manager, Strategy & Planning (CPG)

Location: Port Washington, New York, USA; onsite at headquarters

Salary: $69,000–$137,000 annual

What you will do

• Lead the development of mid- and long-term corporate strategy, objectives, and execution plans.
• Conduct market research, trend analysis, and competitive assessments to identify growth opportunities and threats.
• Develop financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
• Establish KPIs, monitor strategic initiative performance, and report progress to senior management.
• Present strategic plans and recommendations to executive leadership and the board of directors.
• Coordinate with Business Units, Finance, Sales, and SCM to implement aligned strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or similar advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in strategic planning, management consulting, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for presenting complex ideas to varied audiences.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and strategic projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Experience in large-scale CPG companies.
• Familiarity with business intelligence and planning software.
• MBA or similar advanced degree.
