What you will do

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the incident and emergency management program.
• Develop emergency response plans, procedures, playbooks, and readiness tools aligned with regulatory requirements and industry practices.
• Support Emergency Operations Center activations, Incident Command System operations, severe weather responses, infrastructure disruptions, and crisis situations.
• Coordinate risk assessments, resilience planning, emergency preparedness initiatives, and operational readiness activities.
• Design and facilitate exercises, training programs, tabletop simulations, drills, and after-action reviews.
• Engage emergency management agencies, regulators, public safety organizations, industry partners, community stakeholders, and executive leadership.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive experience in emergency management, utility operations, public safety, crisis management, business continuity, security, or a related discipline.
• Experience with emergency response operations, preparedness programs, incident investigations, exercises, and operational resilience.
• Strong knowledge of Incident Command System, Emergency Operations Centers, emergency response principles, and crisis management practices.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders during complex or high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, relationship-building, and project management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in emergency management, public safety, homeland security, engineering, environmental science, business continuity, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Utility, energy, critical infrastructure, or industrial operations experience.
• Professional certifications such as CEM, FEMA Professional Development Series, business continuity certifications, or advanced ICS training.
