Senior Operations Manager (Warehouse Operations)

What you will do

• Oversee receiving, putaway, replenishment, picking, shipping, and inventory execution at the Forney Distribution Center.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity performance through daily management and KPI reviews.
• Lead, coach, and develop managers and supervisors while strengthening accountability, teamwork, and employee relations.
• Partner with Customer Service, Inventory, Materials, and Transportation teams to resolve constraints and improve customer service.
• Lead root-cause analysis, corrective actions, continuous improvement, peak planning, workforce planning, and resource allocation.
• Maintain standard work, SOPs, operational controls, safety compliance, and OSHA requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of direct management experience in warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience leading managers and supervisors in a high-volume, metrics-driven environment.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping and receiving processes.
• Experience with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems such as Oracle, SAP, or Manhattan.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• Experience leading multi-shift distribution center operations.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience.
• Experience with Daily Management Systems, warehouse automation, material handling systems, change management, or operational transformation.
• OSHA knowledge and forklift safety certification.
