Assistant Director, Warehouse Operations

Location: Houston, TX (TAS-Cullen HQ); on-site across Houston-area warehouse facilities

What you will do

• Oversee warehouse operations across multiple Houston-area facilities, including receipt, storage, distribution, and traceability of materials, tools, equipment, and finished goods.
• Supervise warehouse managers and lead the development of warehouse staff.
• Prioritize workloads, identify capacity and resource needs, and address safety hazards.
• Prepare annual budgets, schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations, corporate policies, and warehouse procedures.
• Report operational metrics, analyze data, and lead process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 6+ years of management experience in warehouse operations.
• 6+ years of related manufacturing or factory experience.
• Strong command of English, written and verbal.
• Proficiency in warehouse operations, inventory control, ERP and warehouse management systems, and Microsoft Office; LN experience is preferred.
• Experience managing international shipping processes and interpreting contracts, regulations, and policies.
• B.A./B.S. in business, logistics, operations, supply chain, or a related field; knowledge of Incoterms.

Nice to have

• Project Management or CPIM certification.
• Experience leading Lean, Kaizen, or other operational excellence initiatives.
