Digital Press Operator 2nd Shift (Digital Printing)

Location: West Bend, WI, USA; onsite, 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM, Monday–Thursday

Salary: $21.00–$26.26 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential

What you will do

• Review job instructions and prepare jobs for production on digital presses.
• Set up, program, and release jobs from the print queue.
• Monitor printed output for correctness and image quality.
• Operate bindery equipment, including cutters, tabletop folders, creasers, and shrink tunnels.
• Package completed jobs and prepare them for shipping.
• Review client files, identify missing or problematic components, prepare color proofs when needed, and resolve issues with customer service and production personnel.

Requirements

• Understanding of digital file formats including PDF, TIFF, and EPS across Mac and PC operating systems.
• Basic color management skills and the ability to work with different digital formats.
• Ability to output digital files to various devices and learn new graphics software.
• Mechanical skills with small hand tools for minor repairs, maintenance, and equipment setup.
• Ability to work onsite during the 2nd shift schedule.
