Director, Spend Management Services - Sourcing (Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid, requiring three days per week in the office in Chicago, IL or Irving, TX

Salary: $102,400–$179,000 per year, plus incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Lead Sourcing Executives responsible for custom member contracting strategy, sourcing execution, supplier engagement, and value delivery.
• Develop sourcing strategies, contract plans, customized agreement portfolios, and scalable operating processes.
• Guide complex supplier negotiations, contract terms, issue resolution, and supplier relationship management.
• Partner with Legal, Analytics, Sales, Information and Data Services, Operations, Compliance, and Category teams.
• Track member savings, financial impact, program performance, and revenue opportunities.
• Coach and develop employees while using approved AI-enabled tools to improve analysis, documentation, communication, and productivity.

Requirements

• Seven or more years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, contracting, supplier negotiations, supply chain, client or member engagement, or healthcare-related contracting.
• Experience leading sourcing strategy, contract planning, supplier negotiations, and custom agreement portfolios in a complex, matrixed environment.
• Strong analytical, financial, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Experience coaching employees, managing performance, and supporting team effectiveness through change.
• Experienced AI fluency, including understanding AI's business impact and leading responsible AI-enabled ways of working.
• Ability to work three days per week in the Chicago or Irving office; willingness to travel.

• Relevant degree in Business, Supply Chain, Legal Studies, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• People leadership, team leadership, or direct management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
