Data Scientist (AI/ML)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; onsite role with approximately 10% travel. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $133,500–$183,500 per year, plus potential bonus and stock award compensation.

What you will do

• Support GIS, business intelligence, big data, and AI/ML teams working with business unit and functional customers.
• Analyze business requirements and issues, convert findings into functional and technical specifications, and assist with solution design and development.
• Configure applications and technical platforms and prepare and execute unit, integration, performance, regression, and acceptance testing.
• Provide application and platform support, monitor production systems, and maintain performance, availability, and service-level targets.
• Debug applications and platforms, identify root causes, and complete root cause analyses for incidents and outages.
• Participate in project governance, audits, technology evaluations, and small continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Expanded conceptual knowledge in the relevant discipline and understanding of key business drivers.
• Experience analyzing technical problems and evaluating solutions using technical judgment and established precedents.
• Ability to explain complex information clearly and provide informal guidance to new team members.
• Ability to work within software development, testing, service management, change management, governance, and control processes.
• Must work from the Santa Clara, California location.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
