Senior Database Engineer (Fintech)

Location: West Los Angeles, California; structured hybrid with at least three days per week in the office

Salary: $113,400–$162,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, build, and oversee data architecture, solutions, and software for structured and unstructured data.
• Build data flows and storage structures across distributed cloud environments, local databases, and other storage systems.
• Develop AI, machine learning, and big-data tools to cleanse, organize, and transform data.
• Automate the maintenance, defense, and updating of data structures and integrity.
• Establish design standards and assurance processes for compatible data connections, flows, and storage.
• Review business and product requirements and recommend system and storage upgrades.

Requirements

• Must currently reside in West Los Angeles, California.
• Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Experience designing and operating technology architecture for data capture, management, storage, and utilization.
• Experience with distributed cloud structures, local databases, and data flows.
• Experience applying artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big-data techniques to data operations.
