Care Specialist (Caregiving)

Location: Dallas, TX; hybrid work arrangement

What you will do

• Handle member interactions by phone, email, web, and chat with a positive, professional, and empathetic approach.
• Conduct active listening and needs assessments to identify appropriate benefits, services, and resources.
• Verify member eligibility, document requests in the CRM, and educate members about their benefit plans.
• Research and provide referrals for childcare, eldercare, pet care, wellness, financial hardship, legal, home-care, travel, and related needs.
• Collaborate with the Research Team and third-party partners to coordinate high-quality referrals.
• Provide urgent or crisis support while meeting service-level agreements, call metrics, and response-time targets.

Requirements

• Two to four or more years of relevant experience, ideally in human services such as social work, public health, or crisis centers.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant work experience may substitute for the degree.
• High emotional intelligence, strong written and verbal communication, and excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Collaborative, adaptable, reliable, goal-oriented, and committed to outstanding customer service.
• Availability for scheduled weekday shifts between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM ET, with occasional holiday coverage.
