Associate Actuary, Pricing (Medicare Part D)

Location: Remote nationwide within the United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $106,900–$147,000 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Set pricing assumptions and develop Medicare Part D bids.
• Provide guidance on new product and benefit cost impacts.
• Develop and maintain pricing tools for standard and custom benefits.
• Analyze claims experience, utilization patterns, member behavior, and market dynamics to forecast pharmacy costs.
• Monitor drug launches, loss of exclusivity events, clinical guideline changes, and regulatory impacts.
• Communicate utilization findings and recommendations to pricing, forecasting, clinical, pharmacy, formulary, finance, and leadership stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Associate of Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation.
• MAAA.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work remotely nationwide within the United States; a dedicated workspace and internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload are required.

Nice to have

• Three or more years of pricing, Medicare, and/or Part D experience.
• Experience with SAS, SQL, R, or Databricks.
• Experience with Power BI dashboards, model building, exploratory analysis, or dashboard development.
• Motivation to learn and develop subject-matter expertise.
