Technical Success Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: USA - California (Home Office)

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 base annually plus commission with an 80/20 split

What you will do

• Build trusted relationships with customer security and IT teams and understand their priorities, workflows, and success outcomes.
• Create technical success plans that drive platform adoption, reduce risk, and deliver measurable customer value.
• Identify high-value cybersecurity use cases and guide customers from deployment to active use.
• Monitor product usage, engagement, and health indicators to identify adoption gaps, underutilization, and retention risks.
• Lead mitigation planning for technical blockers, integration challenges, operational gaps, and customer health risks.
• Provide technical health insights for renewals, QBRs, growth discussions, account strategy, and product feedback.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role such as Customer Success Manager, Technical Success Manager, Technical Account Manager, Technical Consultant, or Product Specialist.
• Understanding of enterprise cybersecurity, networking, cloud, SaaS, or infrastructure environments.
• Experience driving adoption, retention, technical value realization, and customer health improvement.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to customers and internal teams.
• Confidence working with security engineers, SOC analysts, system administrators, technical leaders, and executives.
• Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with security operations, SOC workflows, threat detection, or incident response use cases.
• Familiarity with customer success platforms, health scoring, adoption analytics, and renewal governance.
