Field Security Advisor (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote; candidates may be based in any geography, with reliable overlap with customer time zones and periodic travel to customer on-sites and events

Compensation: $121,400–$310,900 USD annual total target compensation, depending on U.S. geographic zone

What you will do

• Deliver cyber extortion readiness engagements, executive briefings, technical workshops, and cross-functional training for enterprise customers.
• Design and facilitate tabletop exercises covering operational disruption, uncertain early facts, and executive decision points.
• Create and improve playbooks, decision frameworks, readiness checklists, and workshop materials aligned with current ransomware and extortion patterns.
• Conduct research and forensic data analysis, interpret forensic outputs and artifacts, and produce actionable readiness recommendations.
• Support customer due diligence, RFP/RFI questionnaires, and contract and security exhibit reviews.
• Collaborate with case management, subject-matter experts, Customer Success, and Field CISO stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in information security or cybersecurity, with depth in incident response/DFIR, security operations, or cyber risk and advisory consulting.
• 3+ years of customer-facing experience supporting B2B enterprise customers.
• Knowledge of application, identity, cloud, network security, and incident response practices.
• Experience presenting to enterprise leadership and facilitating workshops and tabletop exercises.
• Strong written and verbal communication, structured writing, facilitation, listening, and problem-framing skills.
• Ability to overlap reliably with customer time zones and travel periodically for customer meetings, workshops, and events.

Nice to have

• Information security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, GCIH, GCFE, or GCFA.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience translating forensic findings and incident learnings into executive-ready recommendations.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, and CIS Controls.
