Maintenance Technician

Location: Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia; onsite work in indoor production facilities

What you will do

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance according to scheduled work orders.
• Support production lines by troubleshooting breakdowns and minimizing equipment downtime.
• Repair and install electrical, electronic, control, pneumatic, molding, dryer, chiller, and thermolator systems.
• Analyze and program PLC systems, repair inkjet printers, and support equipment automation.
• Install and modify manufacturing lines and support the design of specialized equipment.
• Develop preventive measures, cost-reduction ideas, and improvement projects.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of maintenance experience for Technician Level A; Level D requires at least 5 years.
• Experience with electromechanical systems, automatic equipment failure analysis, electronic controls, and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with molding machines, peripheral equipment, pneumatic presses, inkjet printers, chillers, dryers, and thermolators.
• Knowledge of PLC systems, electrical controls, soldering, pneumatic systems, and industrial equipment troubleshooting.
• Technical education in electronics, mechanics, or electrical engineering, or an incomplete engineering degree from the fourth semester onward, depending on level.
• Basic English communication and the ability to work onsite in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia.
