Advanced Equipment Maintenance & Preventative Maintenance Technician (Automation)

What you will do

• Sustain test equipment to minimize downtime in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment using schematics, manuals, and specifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, calibration, and repairs on production equipment.
• Work with Engineering on new equipment installations, equipment improvements, DOE activities, and improvement projects.
• Improve and sustain equipment capability while meeting availability, OEE, and yield KPIs.
• Develop maintenance procedures and resolve non-standard equipment problems with limited supervision.

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, PC software, and hardware issues.
• Ability to use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges, and test equipment for diagnosis and repair.
• Knowledge of PC-based test equipment and machine control systems, including PLCs, sensors, relays, and pneumatics.
• Ability to work independently, manage activities, solve problems, and communicate effectively with peers, engineers, and managers.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and computer applications.

Nice to have

• One to two years of experience in tester maintenance, automation, or a related field.
• Experience troubleshooting testers running Linux and Windows.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to troubleshooting and project management.
