Materials Management Advisor – Material Coordination (Supply Chain)

What you will do

• Establish and improve material planning and coordination processes.
• Capture material demand and coordinate supply with procurement and Materials Management teams.
• Apply demand-planning and coordination tools to improve scheduling and delivery accuracy.
• Identify, communicate, and prioritize material-demand risk mitigation activities.
• Manage service-provider performance and develop team performance and resource plans.
• Support inventory optimization, continuous supply-chain improvement, and process and data standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a relevant technical discipline.
• Materials Management process and systems knowledge, including experience with ERP systems and reporting tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a functional matrix organization and influence leadership and operating-function stakeholders.
• Ability to work onsite in Schriever, Louisiana.

Nice to have

• Strong commercial skills and ability to make economically sound decisions.
• Knowledge of equipment and materials used in the energy business.
• Experience with statistical analysis, inventory modeling, or inventory accounting.
• Field experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or inbound logistics, preferably in oil and gas or another relevant industry.
