R&D Engineer Hardware 5 (High-Speed Analog)

Salary: USD 129,400–207,000 annually, plus discretionary annual bonus and equity awards.

What you will do

• Design high-speed analog circuits for wireline transceivers in a non-ASIC product environment.
• Determine design approaches and operating parameters.
• Analyze equipment, establish operating data, and conduct experimental tests.
• Evaluate test results and select components and equipment based on specifications and reliability.
• Review vendor capabilities supporting product development.
• Build productive relationships with internal and external partners while solving moderate-scope engineering problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 12+ years of related experience, or a Master's degree in Engineering and 10+ years of related experience.
• Relevant experience in high-speed analog circuit design for wireline transceivers.
• Experience with one or more of the following areas: high-speed ADC and DAC design above 10 Gbps; PLL design above 28 GHz with low jitter below 100 fs-rms; high-linearity, low-noise TIA and laser driver design; equalization for backplanes and optical links; or low-latency clock and data recovery circuits.
