Grad Intern – Data Scientist (Biotechnology)

Location: United States – Remote; must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship

Salary: $35.34–$41.20 per hour

What you will do

• Execute and analyze data analysis and modeling projects, including data design and processing.
• Build high-performing predictive models using advanced statistical techniques.
• Test statistical analysis methods, software, and data sources to improve quantitative solutions.
• Develop ways for scientists to use data from multiple sources.
• Create automated capabilities to read unstructured data and convert it into structured content for analysis and modeling.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the program.
• Must be located in the United States throughout the internship.
• Must have graduated with a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must be enrolled in the first year of an accredited master's, MBA, PharmD, or PhD program before the internship begins.
• Preferred academic backgrounds include information technology, computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, or SQL, with strong analytical, quantitative, interpersonal, and project management skills.

Nice to have

• At least one year of relevant work experience.
• Biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry experience.
• Coursework in software development, database modeling, cloud applications, enterprise systems, Agile, Lean, or SDLC processes.
