Parts Specialist (Aviation)

Location: Herndon Area, Virginia, United States; hybrid schedule with 80% onsite and 20% remote

Salary: $75,000–$85,000 per year

What you will do

• Support sales of used aircraft parts and related services to aviation customers.
• Develop and execute sales plans, campaigns, pricing policies, forecasts, and quarterly reports.
• Coordinate sales activities with Product Management, Product Marketing, Customer Support, and other departments.
• Manage customer requests, used-part orders, order backlogs, complaints, and related follow-up.
• Maintain customer records, monitor market and competitive information, and identify potential distributorships.
• Track material-order activity through key performance indicators and customer and management reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Production.
• 3+ years of assigned-territory sales experience.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, customer service, and/or aviation.
• Technical and process-oriented background with the ability to interpret technical documentation, drawings, and used-parts information.
• Knowledge of used-parts ordering, planning, pricing, provisioning, shipping, Incoterms, and transportation of dangerous goods.
• Proficiency with G Suite applications and SAP; current US work authorization is required, and visa sponsorship is not available.
