Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; 100% onsite with travel between two locations during work hours

What you will do

• Manage inpatient immunotherapy toxicity consultations in collaboration with attending physicians and requesting clinical teams.
• Follow consult patients through admission and discharge, including clinical-data review, care coordination, documentation, and communication with patients and families.
• Provide direct patient care, perform examinations and procedures, interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications within granted privileges.
• Cross-train on the solid tumor consult service and support cross-coverage across oncology teams.
• Develop an independent patient schedule, manage acute visits, and provide physician coverage as responsibilities increase.
• Participate in disease-center meetings, tumor boards, conferences, and required PA training activities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree and completion of an AAPA/NCCPA-accredited Physician Assistant Studies program.
• NCCPA certification and an active Massachusetts Physician Assistant license.
• Current DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Licenses.
• Expertise in general medicine and hematology/oncology, including medical complications affecting oncology patients.
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, collaboration, and documentation skills.
• Completion of 100 hours of CME every two years in accordance with national and state regulations.
